There are 3 workshop choices for the Easter Break;

1. Paper Sculptures

2. Paint Dippy Eggs

3. Chick / Egg Pop-poms & Yarn Bunnies

Please see below for more info.

Visit for for a 1-1 session, or with a friend.  Please say which workshop you want to do when you book.  Can't decide between them? - just book another session so you can enjoy more Easter fun!

Paper Sculptures

Make wonderful 3D paper eggs  (from upcycled papers, or decorate with various colouring resources) and hang them on a mini-tree.  They look fabulous.

Plus, use simple origami techniques to create a hungry looking Bunny Bookmark.

Plus, plus, for the more advanced, we can also make an origami Rabbit Ears Pop-up Box...

you actually blow into it to make it pop into shape, it's great fun!

If you don't want to make a Bunny, you could use the origami folding to create something else to chew on your books... the only limit is your imagination!

These Rabbit Ears boxes require a bit more folding precision, but are definitely worth it !

Watercolour Paint-dip Eggs

Dip your egg shapes into watercolour paint and watch the colours seep and merge into different patterns.  Add extra touches of paint to enhance your design.

When dry you could make individual hanging decorations, simple bunting or a wreath.

Or perhaps you'll have an idea to make something different.

Please note: This workshop is messy!

You will need to bring an apron or wear clothes that don't matter.

Also, we will use a hairdryer to speed the process.  If the sound will cause distress, you might want to consider bringing ear-protectors or similar just for that part of the workshop.

Chick / Egg pom-poms and Yarn Bunnies

These small & cuddly critters are quick to make and lovely for all kinds of Easter fun.

We know most chicks are yellow, but you can make any colour of body, beak and feet you like, from the wools & felt available in the workshop.

Yarn Bunnies made with simple knotting - no sewing required.

You could add eyes & nose with pens, but I didn't want to on mine.

Available colours to play with are: yellow, grey, light blue, mid blue, red, black, pink and white.

Each one comes out slightly differently,

but the finished bunny is usually somewhere between 15 - 17cm long.  â€‹

We can also use the same technique as for the chicks to create pom-pom style eggs!
