Murals
All murals are drawn and painted freestyle, designed specifically for each client. Â
I use a variety of non-toxic, low odour, water based paints, all with excellent fade-resistant properties.
If you are interested in having a mural painted:
1. Please contact me by email
2. I will visit to see the space, listen to your ideas, & discuss the work
3. I will send you a free quote
4. If you are happy with the quote we will agree a start date
Entrance Hall Mural Boards - St Mark's School, Bromley
The school wanted something for their entrance area which would be bright, welcoming and speak about their values. It is a caring and nurturing environment, so trees growing from a river of love seemed just the thing.
This video is over 2 weeks of work edited to 3min...! Enjoy!

The paintings are on Premium MDF panels, (90 x 180cm) secured with steel batons to create 180cm squares. Acrylic paint.
Playground Mural - St Mark's School, Bromley
The wall is too long for one image to be seen. In places the brickwork was in bad condition and there are various obstructions along the space - so I decided upon a series of panels.
Each image is designed to encourage imaginative play - by suggesting different environments or imaginative springboards.
The colour palette is kept small, so the wall works as a whole with colours and shapes repeating across the various images.

Underwater and Treasure Island
This was designed for a child who loved to watch aquarium fish. He chose the fish for this mural & I added turtles with his permission. The ship sail was left blank intentionally, to encourage his imagination to flow.
Full wall mural. Painted in emulsions and acrylics. Wall size approx. 3 x 5m

Baby room
The vine goes around the whole room and down one corner to hide boxed in cables. Two monkeys wave to one another across the room. Giraffe and lion look into the cot, while various birds gossip above.
Spot images over original paintwork in the room. Painted in acrylics with additional matt varnish finish where small fingers might reach.

Calm tree
The client wanted a stylised tree with a hint of red. A table was to be placed in front of and above the radiator, so the trunk had to be long enough for the canopy to be at a visually comfortable height. The background colour was the client's wall choice for the room.
Painted in acrylics. 1.5 x 2m

Garland around window - details
The client had lavender, sage, rosemary and similar on view from this window, so the garland was designed to echo the feel of those plants, without copying them, and bring the garden indoors.
Painted in acrylics.

Rainbow Unicorn
The child wanted a white unicorn and real rainbow colours... I had so much fun designing and painting this one :-)
Painted in acrylics.

Weather Unicorns
Because the child wanted real rainbow colours I thought it would be fun to have a Sunshine-unicorn playing catch with a Rain-unicorn, thus creating the rainbow.
Tiny detail painting placed under a shelf by her bed. Acrylics.

Large Rainbows
The room also had a big rainbow above the radiator and the same design as a GIANT rainbow which began in a top corner, arched over her bed and ended on the floor on the opposite corner.
Acrylics and emulsion.

Spider-man
A surprise present for my Godsons when the family moved house, to help them settle into a new bedroom. It's over 1.5m high (excluding web..!) and designed to look like he is swinging over the bunk-bed.
This was done as a gift.

The Maypole Project - Outside Area
Based on the Logo of the Maypole Project.Â
They support children with complex medical needs and their families. This mural covers 2 walls in their outside play-space. I painted the design in advance and managed a group of volunteers who filled in the colour blocks during an afternoon!
For more information about this amazing charity please visit their website: themaypoleproject.co.uk

The Maypole Project - Outside Area 2
The idea was for the ribbons to gradually grow and fill the entire space with colour...

The Maypole Project - Outside Area 3
The plan is: Over time the children and families will add their own creative ideas over the sea of colours and make it their own.
